Present Moment Retreat
Only eight bungalows, a restaurant, and a yoga platform make up the Present Moment Retreat, but that's part of its charm. Located in Troncones, a tiny Mexican village, the whole ambiance forces guests to live in, and enjoy, the present. It took a bit to get acclimated to life without creature comforts like A/C and electronics, but I ultimately enjoyed my time here. Read more about it in my blog post and check it out below!
Standing on the central yoga platform looking back into the resort, comprised of 8 one-room, open-air bungalows.
Standing on the central yoga platform looking out into the Pacific Ocean. I boogie-boarded at least once a day.
My bungalow! I spent a lot of time on those rocking chairs with my Kindle.
Most days I'd have the whole mile-long beach to myself.
Yoga, meditation, and some very weird dance classes were offered. I skipped the dance classes.
I occasionally jumped in for a quick dip, although I preferred the ocean's waves.
